Date Struck 2535 MS/ (AD1976)/ SH 1355 پنجاهمین سال سلطنت پهلوی Mint Tehran Obverse the Farsi legend: "50th anniversary of Pahlavi Rule" on top center over bust facing left date at the bottom.
Reverse Lion & Sun holding sword in center and the legend indicating denomination. Comments: These sets are rarely seen in the marketplace.
The 50 dinars in the set mintage is 27,000 and has a catalogue value of $30 by itself. The last Shah of Iran who left the country in late 1978, died and buried in Cairo, Egypt. The 6 coins here are mint examples of all different denominations made on the 50th anniversary of Pahlavi reign.
