Chief Jeremiah Chirau (1924–1985) was the president of Rhodesias Council of Chiefs between 1973 until his death. He was elected into the Senate in 1970 and was a signatory to the Internal Settlement. His ZUPO party contested the resulting elections but failed to win any seats and was subsequently disbanded. |
