Comes in a cardboard frame labeled: " RHODESIAN HISTORY / MEDALLION / Volume Three" mounted inside an oblong transparent plastic holder and presented in a cardboard box with a certificate which states that 2,000 silver medals and 2,000 bronze medals were issued. The Rhodesian Bush War also known as the Zimbabwe War of Liberation was a civil war that commenced in 1964. The war ended in December 1979 with the signing of the Lancaster House Agreement. The country, renamed Zimbabwe, gained international recognition and Robert Mugabe of the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) was elected president. |
