The BIG FIVE are deserved legends of the African Wilderness. Traditionally they are the African Lion, the Elephant, the Cape Buffalo, the Leopard and the Rhinoceros.
The name 'Big Five" is something of a misnomer, because the term was originally created by hunters to describe the most difficult or dangerous prey to hunt.
