The South African Mint announced Big Five coin program.
The South African Mint, a wholly owned subsidiary of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) has officially announced a multi-year, fine silver, Big Five coin program featuring wildlife synonymous with Southern Africa – the Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhinoceros and the Buffalo. The exquisite range will see each one of the majestic creatures issued on a collectable silver coin. The third series is now launched known as Africa's Big Five Series III.
The South African Mint, has launched the long-awaited Big Five Series III collectable coin collection, a sequel to the award-winning first and second series.
The first series was originally introduced in 2019.
